Corneal Abrasion
Corneal abrasions heal quickly and the pain should be much less in 24 to 36
hours. Usually your eyesight will not be permanently affected.
Home Treatment:
- If your doctor gives you some eye medicine, be sure to take it as
directed.
- If your doctor patches your eye, don't take the patch off until your
doctor tells you to.
- If you vision gets worse or if the pain continues, return to your
physician.
- Corneal abrasions require medical follow up. Be sure to keep your return
appointment.
